Montgomery Village Foundation Office CLOSED

During this unusual time, Montgomery Village Foundation’s (MVF) priority has been maintaining safe environments for our residents, staff, program participants and community visitors. We continue to monitor the changing climate around COVID-19 health concerns and are following state, county and local jurisdiction lead for preparedness and closure information.

Due to Governor Hogan's Executive Order to close non-essential businesses, the MVF Office is currently closed.

As of 5 p.m. on Monday, March 23, MVF is closed until further notice. While our doors are not open, there are opportunities for you to get information from MVF. Use this website or our social media channels, mainly Facebook and Twitter, for general questions and direction to appropriate staff, as well as a source for any future changes in operations. Any physical communication (assessment payments by check, activity card rights forms) can be left in the drop-box in the Apple Ridge parking lot.

Until such time as the Executive Order is lifted, residents can expect the following:

All MVF community centers remain closed to the public.

MVF Parks are open, however, visitors are encouraged not to use playground equipment. Avoid contact with surfaces touched by others and participating in activities involving physical contact.

  • Parking/Security Enforcement
  • Emergency Community Services

Interrupted Services:

SOUTH VILLAGE RESIDENTS PLEASE NOTE: The South Village Parking Permit distribution deadline has been extended for the foreseeable future.

As reminded by the CDC and other agencies, MVF continues to stress the importance of washing hands, avoiding close contact (especially with those who are coughing, sneezing or showing other sickness), remaining calm, being smart with choices of travel and positioning yourself to stay as healthy as possible. We encourage residents to visit the Montgomery County Health and Human Services or CDC websites.

Thank you for your continued patience and support while we all strive to keep our friends, neighbors and families safe during this challenging time.
