Calling all great bakers in Gaithersburg and the surrounding region! Show us what you’ve got and submit your best spring baking recipe (sweet or savory) to the first-ever Great Gaithersburg Bake-Off Challenge for your chance to be named the “Best Baker in the Land.” Winner will receive a Gaithersburg prize package and the title of “Great Gaithersburg Bake-Off Champion.”
The Bake-Off Challenge is open to adults age 18 and older; participants must be able to bring their finished dish to the Casey Farmers Market, 810 S Frederick Avenue, Gaithersburg, on Thursday, May 20. Recipe submissions are due by Friday, April 23, and finalists will be announced on Friday, May 7. Finalists will present their baked recipes at the Casey Farmers Market on Thursday, May 20 for recipe tasting and judging, and then a winner will be announced.
